India-based information technology, consulting, and business services company Wipro Limited today announced the opening of an automotive engineering center in Troy. The facility is located at 888 W. Big Beaver Rd. (near Crooks Road).
The center will leverage local talent to drive innovation in connected vehicle concepts including design, product engineering, digital customer-vehicle experiences, AI, and sensors-driven advanced vehicle data analytics.
The AEC is part of Wipro’s vision to build a global network of delivery centers that offer engineering and IT services, augmented by automotive domain and digital solutions. The center will serve as a hub to support the automotive engineering and IT requirements of OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers based in North America.
