Detroit’s Amerisource Industrial Supply Joins Fairmont Supply’s Pennsylvania-based Family of Companies

Detroit’s Amerisource Industrial Supply has merged with the Fairmont Supply family of companies, giving both entities expanded market reach and product portfolios, and access to a wider customer base. Financial details of the move were not disclosed.

Rob Szafraniec, currently Amerisource’s COO, will stay with the company and become vice president and general manager of the Amerisource business unit.

Fairmont Supply Company is headquartered in Washington, Penn., and is one of the nation’s leading provider of industrial maintenance, repair and operating supplies. It operates 27 fully automated distribution centers in North America serving more than 5,000 customers in various industries.
