Embassy Suites by Hilton Detroit Troy/Auburn Hills in Troy has completed the first phase of a property-wide renovation project that updated the hotel’s public space, restaurant and lounge, pool, meeting and banquet rooms, and fitness center.
The first phase took five months. Phase II will include upgrades to all guest rooms and is slated to begin in the fall. The hotel includes 251 suites and is managed by Hospitality Ventures Management Group.
“The extensive enhancements provide guests with not only excellent accommodations, but also a highly satisfying overall experience,” says Greg Kroesing, director of sales and marketing for the hotel. “Our sizable suites continue to appeal to business travelers by affording more space to work and relax than the average, one-room hotel accommodation options in the local market. Families also continue to enjoy spreading out within the two separate rooms.”
Located at 850 Tower Dr., the hotel’s location offers guests access to I-75 and is close to the Somerset Collection. It offers around 7,000 square feet of meeting and event space including eight flexible meeting rooms, a business center, and a 24/7 market and fitness center.
Guests also have access to a free shuttle that takes them to locations within a five-mile radius of the hotel, as well as complimentary made-to-order breakfasts and evening receptions. All suites feature two rooms with a separate living area and private bedroom, two flat-screen televisions, and a wet bar that includes a microwave, mini refrigerator, and coffee and tea.
